Lacey is a native to the wheat fields, and yellow brick roads of Leavenworth, Kansas.
Her first debut to the stage was at age 9 in the leading role of Sara Crewe in 'The Little Princess',
performed with 'Youth Musical Theater Productions'. She continued being extremely involved in
musicals at the local and regional levels throughout her adolescence. Productions which featured
her talent in the lead role included, 'Annie', 'Wizard of Oz', and 'Peter Pan'.
Throughout her teen years Lacey was heavily involved with music, drama, choir, student council
and athletics at her high school. Her zest for excellence and energy in these areas only worked
to strengthen her well-rounded stage talent.
At age 18 Lacey moved to New York City to begin study and post secondary education at
'The Manhattan School of Music' where she ultimately earned a B.M. in Vocal Performance.
There she studied under many world reknowned professionals to include Ashley Putnam,
Carolyn Marlow, Maitland Peters, and Catherine Malfitano. She completed her senior year by
holding the lead role with 'The Amerian Musical Theater Ensemble' in their production of
'September Songs' as Lotte Lenya, the narrator.
Lacey has recently relocated to the Rocky Mountain West with her husband and puppy, and is
looking forward to becoming, once again, involved in outstanding regional theater as she
continues to grow as a young performer.
